The Twice the Pride Boxed set includes: Count Dooku, Jango Fett, and Magnadroids
Dooku is one of the characters that provides 4 force points to your force, but he only provides 7 Squad points in exchange.
Dooku is a strong all around unit, that is slightly more defensive than offensive. He has synergies with Sepratist Alliance units, which is a pretty common tag, so it is easy to use. He also has an easy force recovery mechanic when your own primary or secondary units are wounded. While he is considerably stronger in melee combat, his ranged attack side isn't bad either, and includes an easy to reach 2 point heal. He's also pretty mobile, since his activation ability works on himself as well as the extra seperatist unit. He's an extremely tactically flexible and strong primary unit, and could lead a wide variety of seperatist units, but his 7 squad points will limit those options. Still with Magnadroids and B1 Battledroids both only costing 3 points, he does at least have a couple options.
Jango Fett, Bounty Hunter: 4 point Secondary character
This secondary character has no abilities that are dependent on keywords, so he can literally work with any force. He DOES have the Seperatist Alliance tag, so he can benefit from some of Dooku's abilities. He's a very mobile damage dealer, plain and simple. He's excellent for holding objectives in the center of the table, because of his "not so fast" ability he can dish out quite a bit of damage as opponents try to activate around him. Although this does consume large amounts of force, that's why Dooku is a good primary for him, since he has extra force to use. He's pretty mobile, and even has a "pull" mechanic to help control the board.
Magnadroids : 3 point Supporting Unit.
These guys are rockstars for a 3 point unit. Sure, they dont have any ranged attack at all, but they hit very reliably in melee with low dice because they get crits from expertise, and have two pushes right at the start of their tree. They also have some great abilities to protect other units, giving cover to nearby primary and secondaries, and completely stopping enemies engaged with them from making melee attacks against Primary or Secondary units. They also have a strong extra movement mechanic. This unit is absoultely a superstar.
What team should this pair up with?
Frankly any Seperatists work quite well with Dooku. Bringing Asajj with Kalani and the battledroids is good becuase they're seperatists, and the magnadroids will benefit from Kalani. Grevious is another decent choice becuase he would benefit from the magnadroid protection. There aren't that many other seperatists at the moment, so those seem to be your main two choices. Who else could lead this team? instead of Dooku, Vader could work, since he's also a 7 point primary. You COULD lead the other units with other primaries as well, but having 8 squad points but only spending 7 is not a good idea.
