This is a pretty easy one so I'll toss it up here quickly:
All units critically succeed on taint checks on 9 or 10, no matter how many you have, and if you have six slots filled, you also get a free profane nest.
All of the slots are simple, they must have something with the HEX BEAST trait. Not HEX, BEAST, but HEX BEAST. There are currently only 4 (EDIT: Now 5!) of these units selectable in the game, however a couple of them are not unique, so you can have several.
The three that are Unique are Kreechur, Jaques Santiago, and Vivian Espinosa (Whos card you will find under Outlaws->Golden Army on the website.
Let's start there, to be honest, you're going to want to take some named characters, and then your own combination of Hex beast packs and Juiced Hex beast packs.
The Boss herself (herselves?) - she has hex bolt, which is a good shooting attack, even if her aim is not-so-great. Coming with dark council and tainted tunnels is nice as you'll have a node of power hexalith and of course the ability to buy at least one profane nest for bringing in reserves somewhere out on the table (and it works as a portal linked to the hexalith), If you dont use your strategic asset to take Wayland, Buy a 2nd one. (even if they are "unreleased" and not tournament legal yet) giving you three (including the one from the posse bonus), making it harder for your opponent to just take them out before you can use them.
Vivian Espinosa - you actually WONT be able to use her frenzied attack, because of her special rules that says she can only use it when near Sofia Antonela, whom cannot be taken in this posse (in theory you could take her in an allied posse though as both golden army bosses will ally with Hex). Still, she's a cheap unit for her level of resilience, and her hammer hands are a pretty good attack considering the built-in stun and death-dealer.
Kreechur - another rugged unit, with Durable Grit-7, Tough, and Hardy, unless near the boss and attacking small targets though, his attacks are lackluster. Basically he's a bodyguard. Keep him more than 2" but less than 4" from the boss at all times.
And now! The new melee monster that is Jaques Santiago: IMPERVIOUS grit-7 with mettle, and obviously a killer in melee with charging skills to get him there. He also allows you to buy another nest should you so wish.
Juiced Hex Beast Pack - They're Durable Grit-7, but a tad expensive for their role. still, theyre the best option this posse has for a swarm. They do have a torrent engulf shooting attack though which is pretty good actually! They are MUCH nastier in melee. Strangely enough, when they die, there's nothing that stops them from becoming "normal" hex beasts from their taint check. (as they get smaller and weaker, I'd say it represents big pieces of them getting blown off, but still somehow remaining animated...) These can be pretty scary popping out of profane nests within combat range of the enemy...
Hex Beast Pack - these are.... not-so-good. However! they're pretty cheap, so it's not a completely awful idea to include at least a unit of these. Sadly, they look like they need to be in a large-ish pack to be useful, but they can hazard all over each other if they aren't positioned carefully. They're only slightly better than their "free" versions that appear when you make a taint check, and sadly, these cannot get a taint check as they already have re-animated.
As a strategic unit (your boss can always take one), you may want to consider Wayland the smith. He's not tainted, so he wont benefit from the posse bonus, but he CAN provide +1 limit to other units in LoS 12" away, which can be useful on this list's monsters.
How to play this? Put the nests and hexalith carefully on the field. your opponent will undoubtedly try to destroy them quickly, but you can pop out of them with Juiced hex beast packs held in reserve, or portal across from your own deployment zone if you keep a 2nd one back. Try to keep the hexalith more central, to use its Node of Power rule. This is a simple list to play otherwise. Be agressive. you have to. charge in as close to your enemy as possible, beat them to death, or die, and splatter Hex juice all over them. (remember to stay spread out more than 2" if you can as much as possible.)
